Hello my dear friends
So much has happened in the last week, but I will try to pace it - so as not to be a blog overload. Starting with Thursday. When I woke up in the morning there was a sign outside my door wishing me a Happy Birthday.

After pancakes for breakfast, I went for a beautiful walk up Mont-Royal (pronounced mont-roy-al) before heading to class.

My first class was watching presentations, and the guest lecturer for my second class cancelled at the last minute so the prof sent us home. My birthday dinner was absolutely lovely, I had such a great time. When we finished eating the waiter came out with a slice of cheesecake that had a candle that resembled a sparkler at Guy Fawkes, and everyone sang. I don’t know how the waiter knew, and he didn’t charge me for my meal. The restaurant we went to was located directly across the street from my house, so everyone came back to enjoy the cake Rachel had kindly made for me.

At the end of the birthday celebrations, a few of us headed to a place nearby to hear some musicians from Church perform, they were fantastic. Then at 11:45pm I was at Berri station, ready to head to New York City for the weekend!
I don't have the pictures from the dinner at the moment, but will upload a few when I do.
